So many professionals use weight gain as the only indicator of efficient feeding. And so many parents' concerns get waived off as a result of that. 😔
Yes weight gain is an important consideration in feeding, but feeding your baby is so much more than that. Feeding should be pleasant and comfortable for both you and your baby! Baby should be able to easily coordinate all the complex movements needed for efficient feeding.
